We are excited to re-introduce an exciting fundraising program that will not cost you one penny but has the potential of helping a local child, youth and/or family in need.
Our Foundation purchases gift cards from large, well known retailers at a discount. The Foundation resells the gift cards to you at face value and the difference goes to support the Foundation's programs and initiatives.
Some of the participating retailers are:
HBC (The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters), Esso, Loblaws, American Eagle, Best Buy and many, many more.
How the Program Works:
- Determine which gift cards you would like to purchase and in what denominations on the order form.
- Return the completed order form in an envelope with a cheque made payable to the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation on the Friday of each week.
- Pick up your order from the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation the following Friday.
The net proceeds from this program will be used to help support our bursary and camp programs as well as a variety of other initiatives/programs that assist local children, youth and families in need.
