On September 27, 2009, at the edge of Toronto's expansive waterfront, 24 Durham Children's Aid Foundation walkers and runners raised approximately $7,000 for children in need. DCAF joined our colleagues from Peel, York, and Toronto in this inaugural joint fundraising effort, which generated collectively over $60,000. The Durham Children's Aid Foundation is proud to have partnered with other Foundations in the GTA, under the umbrella of the Children's Aid Foundation (CAF) in Toronto - chosen as one of the three featured charities of the 2009 marathon.
